BLUFF CITY CONSTRUCTION – GEOPOOL TERRITORY

Why Choose the GeoPool® Dewatering System?
Bluff City Construction, LLC (BCC) is proud to be the exclusive distributor of this patented technology across eleven states. Here's why GeoPool® is a preferred solution for efficient, sustainable dewatering:
Cost-Effective
Reduces disposal and transportation costs with efficient dewatering
Reusable
Durable materials allow for multiple deployments, minimizing waste
SCALABLE
Modular design adapts to projects of any size—from small sites to large-scale operations
ECO-FRIENDLY
Supports sustainable practices by minimizing environmental impact
VERSATILE
Ideal for Industrial, Environmental, and Biosolids applications
The GeoPool® System is an innovative dewatering system that is comprised of a series of rigid steel support frames that are linked together with heavy duty steel footing connections and a series of four steel cables with turnbuckle connections. The interior frame structure is lined with a hi-tech geosynthetic fabric used to filter out water from slurries delivered via hydraulic pipeline. The sediments are collected in the GeoPool and the effluent water filters through the fabric via natural settling and gravity.

The effluent is directed towards a sump by simply creating a lined trench 4-5 f. away from the rear base of the GeoPool. The effluent can then be pumped back to its original water source or treated if necessary. The patented Dump Doors are a series of shutters inserted into several of the GeoPool frames at different heights and are opened to release bulk surface water of the pool to increase storage capacity. This greatly speeds up the dewatering process as a large portion of the water will not need to be filtered through the fabric during the dry down process which is required when using less efficient geotextile tubes.
The patented Clean Out Gates allow the GeoPool to be opened after the material is dewatered to the desired percent moisture level. After the Gates are dropped and pulled to the side, tracked earth moving equipment can access the material through a 20 ft. 6 in. side entry point and remove the material from the pool. After the pool is emptied the Gates can be raised and locked and the next fill cycle can begin. For large scale projects, GeoPool recommends multiple pools so one pool can be filled while another pool is cleaned out after the dry down process is complete.

From Lab Bench to Field Deployment
STEP #1 – BENCH TEST:
BCC can accept your 5-gallon bucket of sample material for testing at its full-service accredited analytical and materials testing laboratory. The material will be run through a bench test by one of BCC’s chemists performing a treatability study which will allow BCC to determine the proper polymer product and dosage for the most efficient dewatering inside the GeoPool.

STEP #2 – OPTIONAL PILOT TEST:
In cases where the customer wants to perform a real-world pilot test, BCC can provide site preparation, set-up, and a pilot test using an actual full size GeoPool V6 on the client’s actual job site. A report can be generated to the client to provide the results of the pilot and then the client can decide to go full scale.

STEP #3 – FULL SCALE OPERATIONS:
With a successful bench test and optional pilot test completed you are now ready for full scale operations with confidence that your dewatering operations will be a long-term success. BCC offers the following full-scale operations options to its clientele whether it is a basic sale and training all the way to complete site preparation and an operations and maintenance contract:
